Vasily Gerello received a sentence for supporting Russian aggression – UNIAN
The decision was made by the Vinnitsa City Court.
The famous Russian opera singer Vasily Gerello, who was born in Ukraine, was sentenced for publicly promoting war and actively calling for changes in Ukrainian borders.
61-year-old Gerello, who lives in the Russian Federation and supports the Kremlin’s bloody policies, has never appeared at court hearings in his case. Therefore, the Vinnytsia City Court sentenced him in absentia. The Putinist was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of all property in favor of the state.
