Victory Parade in Moscow – Fico said he would come at Putin’s invitation – UNIAN
According to the Prime Minister of Slovakia, he is interested in participating in the official celebrations of the victory over fascism.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that he accepted the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to Moscow for the parade on May 9. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The Red Army and the peoples of the former Soviet Union played an irreplaceable role in the victory of fascism and the victory in World War II. Citizens of the Slovak Republic respectfully remember all the anniversaries and events associated with the liberation of our territory by the Red Army in 1944-1945, as well as the assistance which the former Soviet Union provided to the CIS,” the politician noted.
