Boxer Kazakhstan national team Saken Bibosynov finished his speech at Asian Championship 2024 in Chiang Mai (Thailand), writes Sports.kz.

The fight between Saken Bibosynov and the Uzbek fighter at the 2024 Championship ended with a loud sensation.

In the quarterfinal fight in the weight category up to 51 kilograms, Bibosynov was unable to break the resistance of his opponent from Uzbekistan, Asilbek Jalilov – Asilbek took the first two rounds by a split decision, and after the third segment the judges had to resort to a video replay. As a result, the victory was given to Asilbek Jalilov, who was initially a clear underdog.

Saken Bibosynov is the 2021 world champion, a bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympic Games, and a three-time medalist at the Asian Championships.
