Kazakh boxer Aida Abikeeva reached the semi-finals of the 2024 Asian Championship in Chiang Mai (Thailand), Sports.kz reports.
Kazakhstan defeated Uzbekistan at the Asian Boxing Championships
In the quarterfinals of the weight category up to 63 kilograms, Abikeeva fought with the representative of the Uzbekistan national team Dilfuza Bekova and won a difficult victory by a split decision with a score of 4:1 after losing on points in the first three minutes. Now Aida will perform in the semi-finals, which means she will receive at least bronze.
