According to forecasters, the upcoming winter of 2024-2025 in Russia promises to be not only difficult, but also extremely unpredictable, posing a serious challenge for the population and infrastructure of the country.

The meteorological picture is depicted as a chaotic alternation of periods of sharp cooling and relatively short-term thaws. Such instability with frequent and intense temperature changes will be accompanied by rapid changes in weather conditions: heavy snowfalls will be replaced by rains, and then severe frosts will come again.
