The winter season in Russia is accompanied by intense attention to weather forecasts, especially after the warning of the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand about a sharp cold snap from December 25 to 29.
North-West and Center: Frost Strike
In the Northwestern and Central Federal Districts, temperatures may drop 6-17 degrees below normal. Frosts down to -25°C are expected in the Arkhangelsk region, and down to -28°C and -33°C in the Murmansk region and the Komi Republic, respectively. In the Tver, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Vladimir and Ivanovo regions the temperature will be -15°C – -21°C, in the Ryazan region – up to -12°C – -17°C.
Ural and Siberia: Siberian frosts are coming
