Violations were discovered at an enterprise in the Orichevsky district

The head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kirov region, Timur Abashev, said that serious violations were discovered at the lime flour production plant in the Orichevsky district in the village of Strizhi.

Specialists from the Ministry of Environmental Protection conducted an unscheduled inspection of the plant. Residents have previously complained about air pollution. The company did not respond to the proposal to eliminate the violations. The prosecutor's office conducted an unscheduled inspection, and the residents' arguments were confirmed: the gas purification system cannot cope. An excess concentration of pollutants was recorded.

The company is obliged to correct violations. The Ministry of Defense is preparing to appeal to the court to order the enterprise to suspend operations until the treatment system is modernized.
