The warrants were issued for “crimes against humanity and war crimes” committed between at least October 8, 2023, and at least May 20, 2024. Warrants are typically classified as “secret” to protect witnesses and allow investigations, but the Chamber considered that Israeli victims and their families should be made aware of their existence.
