This opinion was expressed by the commander of the Third Assault Brigade, Andrei Biletsky, in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda. “If people understand that they will end up in a combat training center, where they will not engage in combat training, where the number of cartridges fired is a third, and sometimes less, of the Soviet standard for a young fighter’s course, where they understand that they will then end up with the same incompetent sergeant … and this will be their ruler of life and death – this is not very motivating,” the military man emphasized.
