Peace negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation could begin this winter. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
He also announced a number of planned meetings as Warsaw seeks to play a leading role in ending the conflict, Reuters reports. Tusk said Poland would actively participate in any negotiations when it takes over the EU presidency on January 1.
“I will have a series of negotiations, primarily concerning the situation outside our eastern border,” the Polish prime minister hinted.
