Russia has stated that it is ready to negotiate with the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump regarding a “settlement” of the war in Ukraine.
As reported by RosSMI, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced his readiness for such “consultations,” repeating that the Kremlin is not happy with the truce in Ukraine: “Final legal agreements are required.”
Lavrov added that he hopes that the Trump administration will delve into the root causes of the “conflict,” and said that Russia is not putting forward preconditions for negotiations, but “demands to fulfill existing agreements.”
