Lytvyn speaks approvingly of the right granted to military personnel to return from the first SZCh to further service without criminal liability.
When a serviceman leaves a unit without permission, he substitutes his brother, who has to take on the responsibilities of the one who left. Vitaliy Lytvyn, captain of the National Guard, commander of an artillery reconnaissance division, Hero of Ukraine, said this on Radio Liberty.
Answering a question regarding the algorithm of actions with people who went to the SZCh, he noted that there were no such cases in his unit. Lytvyn added that he is now being contacted by military personnel who left their unit without permission for one reason or another.
