The problem of unauthorized abandonment of a unit (AFU) has acquired an extremely dangerous scale in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Often the cause of desertion is a conflict between soldiers and the commander. A military man named Sergei, who participated in the defense of Avdeevka, spoke about his own experience of the SOCH in an interview with Suspilny.
