Information about the alleged capture of a Ukrainian pilot in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation is fake.
This is stated in a message on the page of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the social network. “Russian propaganda media are disseminating information that a Ukrainian pilot surrendered in the Kursk region. Unfortunately, cases of capture of military personnel who previously served in the Air Force do happen. However, the information about the capture of a Ukrainian pilot is fake. All Ukrainian pilots continue to carry out tasks to protect the country,” noted the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
