For its advance through Ukrainian territory this fall, the occupation army paid with losses of about 53 soldiers for every square kilometer.
“The Kremlin continues to suffer significant manpower losses as it attempts to achieve tactical gains in the western Donetsk region at the expense of Russia’s ongoing military efforts and the medium-term capacity of the Russian economy,” the Institute for the Study of War report noted.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the average daily losses of the Russian Federation in November 2024 reached a new historical maximum – 1,523 deaths per day. The first time the invaders suffered just over 2,000 casualties in one day was November 28, 2024.
