The Russian Federation has captured regions rich in mineral resources, and with them it will pay for the costs of the war.
Freezing the war on the current line of contact will mean the victory of the aggressor, because in this way Russia will finally retain the large deposits of mineral resources that exist in the occupied territories. This opinion was expressed by ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko in an interview with Radio Liberty.
He emphasized that the Russians captured not only the territory with people who decided to remain under occupation, but also the resource base necessary for the further development of Ukraine.
