Warming is likely in the Kirov region at the end of December: December 20

The telegram channel “Amateur Meteorology in Kirov” clarified the cold weather forecast.

Previously, a strong Arctic invasion appeared in the forecast for December 20. In the morning, the temperature in the region could reach -23…-27 degrees, and in the lowlands, with clear weather, up to -32 degrees. However, the forecast has changed.

The cold invasion has been canceled for now, as frosts have moved east towards the Komi Republic. A warm sector of the cyclone with thaws is coming from the southwest to the Kirov region. The forecast could also change quickly as we approach December 20th, so it's worth keeping an eye on updates. The cold snap may peak late in the evening on December 19th.
