We will not have a rest in January: a tough decision has been made about the New Year holidays

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation announced significant adjustments to the schedule of holidays and weekends for the next two years, aimed at optimizing the balance between work and rest of Russians.

In 2025, Russians will have a rest from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025 inclusive, in order to recuperate and prepare for the new working year. The May holidays will be divided into two periods: from May 1 to 4 and from May 8 to 11, which will allow us to celebrate Spring and Labor Day and Victory Day.

Official list of holidays for 2025:

January 1-7 (New Year holidays)
February 22-23 (Defender of the Fatherland Day)
March 8-9 (International Women's Day)
May 1-4 (Spring and Labor Festival)
May 8-11 (Victory Day)
June 12-15 (Russia Day)
November 2-4 (National Unity Day)
December 31 (pre-New Year's day off)
