Ukraine should have a law on weapons for self-defense, but when adopting it, it is necessary to maintain a balance between the right to self-defense and punishment for exceeding it. Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine – Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna said this during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
“Of course, I have a weapon because I believe that I have the right to self-defense,” she admitted.
