Increasing Ukrzaliznytsia's tariffs for freight transportation by 37% is a common practice for solving accumulated problems at the expense of business, says well-known economic expert Sergei Lyamets. He criticized the latest decision of the management of the monopolist company to increase tariffs.
“This is such a strategy. Solve any problems at the expense of customers. Therefore, I really believe that diesel and electricity are becoming more expensive (as for the rest of the country). But I also believe that Ukrzaliznytsia is a huge monopoly, a real black box. And she once again wants to solve her problems at the expense of the economy,” Lyamets noted on Facebook.
