Westinghouse supports Ukraine's nuclear energy development plans ahead of the Council's decision on the Khmelnytsky NPP
The American company Westinghouse Electric Company has expressed support for Ukraine's plans to expand nuclear energy through the construction of new generating capacities.
“We support these ambitious aspirations of Ukraine and are ready to provide the necessary assistance for their implementation together with our long-term partner – NAEK “Energoatom”. We are proud of our partnership and look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the development of safe nuclear energy for Ukraine,” the company said in an official statement.
This week, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to consider and adopt a draft law on the completion of the construction of power units No. 3 and No. 4 of the Khmelnytsky NPP.
