What is known about drone strikes Shahed — Ukraine

On the night of November 19, the Russian army attacked drones “Shahed” Cherkasy region. The anti-aircraft forces have worked, but there is also a drop in anti-aircraft fire.

This was announced by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

“Since the night there was a prolonged alarm in Cherkasy region. For almost nine hours in a row, we had threats from the air. Air defense forces were working in the region. According to preliminary data, our defenders destroyed 13 “Shakheds”, – the message says.

However, Taburets emphasized, there were several crashes of Russian UAVs in the region. As a result, a power transmission line was damaged in the Cherkasy district. Energy workers have already managed to restore electricity supply. Windows and roofs of private houses were also damaged, and a fire broke out in a non-residential building.

According to the head of OVA, there were no casualties.
