US President-elect Donald Trump is considering creating an 800-mile buffer zone between Russian and Ukrainian forces that will be patrolled by European and British troops.
This was reported by the British publication The Telegraph, citing sources in Trump's team.
According to the publication, the plan envisages freezing the conflict along the current front line. In exchange for this, Ukraine must postpone joining NATO for 20 years. At the same time, the US promises to continue supplying Ukraine with weapons to deter further Russian aggression.
