This date is the rarest for a baby to be born in the US, Australia and New Zealand.

There is one day of the year when people are much less likely to be born than any other.

“December 25 is the least popular day for children to be born in the US, Australia and New Zealand. In England, Wales and Ireland, it is the second most popular day after December 26, when the British celebrate Boxing Day,” explained economist Jay Zagorsky in an article for The Conversation.
