What not to say in an interview: phrases that scare off employers
Getting your dream job is not always easy. The interview is often the most difficult stage.
Modern companies are looking for a motivated individual with a certain set of qualities that should fit harmoniously into the team. If your questions are mostly about material things, it is unlikely that you will be able to get the desired job.
If you are invited to an interview, forget about the following phrases:
“What do you do for a living” or “I don't remember submitting a resume to you” or “Remind me what position”. Saying this in an interview will make the recruiter understand that you're not interested in the job, and it will also make them wonder why you haven't found a job yet if you've been sending out a lot of resumes.
“Yes, no, I don't know”. Short monosyllabic answers to open questions will also not please any employer. Answer comprehensively and interestingly.
