New projects for the restoration of housing and social infrastructure will appear in western Ukraine: “Mini-Bakhmut” in the village of Goshcha and a town for displaced people with an area of 120 hectares in Trostyanets. These projects were developed according to Metinvest's “Steel Dream” concept. They were presented at the Fifth International Conference “Restoration of Ukraine: Construction and Energy” in Warsaw, by the deputy mayor of Bakhmut, Alexander Marchenko, and the mayor of Trostyanets, Yuriy Bova, in order to find international donor funding.
Alexander Marchenko said: while Bakhmut is occupied, the city administration agreed to allocate a site in the village of Goshcha, Rivne region. It is planned to create a quarter there that intuitively follows the borders of Bakhmut with the Bakhmutka River and the division of the city into four districts.
