Where to bring an electric car to Ukraine
Most often, new electric cars were imported from China, and the United States was the leader in the supply of used electric cars.
From January to September 2024, 45,361 passenger electric vehicles (BEVs) were imported to Ukraine. UkrAvtoprom reports this with reference to data from the State Statistics Service.
The total customs value of these cars was $989 million. At the same time, of the total number of imported electric cars, 12,619 were new, and 32,742 were used. It is noted that importers spent $334 million on the purchase of new electric vehicles. The customs value of used electric vehicles was $655 million.
