Since September, Ukraine has almost stopped mobilizing men over 50 years old.

As of today, there are less than a dozen mobilized people who are 50+ years old in the training centers of the Armed Forces.

“Glavkom” writes about this with reference to a source in the Main Department of Doctrine and Training of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

This is due to the implementation of the internal directive of the command of the Ground Forces, from the end of September, the TCC stopped forcibly mobilizing men, older than 50 years.

“Due to their physical characteristics and chronic illnesses, older people cannot fully perform combat tasks on the front line, and combat brigades (namely, training centers are currently preparing personnel for them) they don't want to hire such people“, the publication's source explained.
