Prices for vegetables and fruits in Ukraine continue to rise, but some items are still getting a little cheaper. Carrots have every chance of becoming the most expensive vegetable in the borscht set.
Analysts of the EastFruit project noted that carrots are rising in price for the fourth week in a row. Thus, the upper price limit increased from 23 to 25 hryvnia. At the same time, white cabbage was sold more expensive than a week earlier – the lower price limit jumped from 20 to 22 hryvnia.
At the same time, beets fell in price from 15-17 hryvnia per kilogram to 13-15. Most of the large greenhouse complexes in Ukraine have completed the cucumber sales season, which led to a decrease in supply and an increase in prices for the vegetable.
