An additional payment is provided to citizens who receive subsidies for the purchase of solid fuel in the winter.
During the heating season in 2024, more than 245.5 thousand Ukrainian households received financial assistance worth more than 3.4 billion hryvnia for firewood and coal.
According to the Ministry of Social Policy, in order for Ukrainian families who heat their homes with wood or coal to provide themselves with fuel in the winter, the ministry, together with the UN, has been providing additional financial assistance for its purchase for the second year in a row.
