The Doctor's Notes telegram channel published the results of a study that examined the consequences of people's addiction to alcoholic beverages, Sports.kz reports.
“Researchers compared the diets of more than 1,900 American alcohol drinkers: 38.9% drank only beer, 21.8% drank only wine, 18.2% drank only hard liquor, and 21% drank a combination of different types of alcohol. None of the groups followed a good diet; beer drinkers ate the worst.
It turned out that among consumers of only beer, the most common consumers are men, young people, smokers and people with low incomes. They also consume the most calories per day and exhibit the lowest levels of physical activity.
