According to the doctor, hot water can further increase blood pressure, which will lead to stress on the brain, even to the point of loss of consciousness.
“High water temperature will aggravate the general condition and lead to negative consequences. It can cause a further increase in blood pressure, stress on the brain, and loss of consciousness,” the doctor said.
Hot showers are also contraindicated in cases of traumatic brain injury and high body temperature during illness, as the condition will worsen. In addition, it should be treated with caution in case of allergic diseases and eczema, Romanenko explained.
