Employees of the reserve note that it is increasingly difficult for animals in the forest to find food.
In the Chernobyl reserve on Kyiv region wild animals that were looking for food fell into the camera trap. It was a moose, wolves and a fox.
The relevant photos were released by the Chernobyl Radiation-Ecological Biosphere Reserve.
“It's the end of autumn… Short gloomy days, long dark nights… It's getting harder and harder for animals in the forest to find food.
- Moose feed on withered grass, twigs with the remains of leaves and young pine shoots.
- The fox is looking for its daily treats – mouse-like rodents.
- Wolves are actively combing the forest, hoping for a more solid trophy,” says the reserve's post under the photo.
