Will frost hit in December: forecast for the first month of winter
The forecaster predicts periods of severe cold, but they will be short-lived.
December in Ukraine will be close to the climatic norm.
Nataliya Ptuha, forecaster of “Ukrhydromettsenter”, reported about this, “24 Kanal” writes.
“According to the forecasts of world forecasting centers and the analyzes of the experts of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, it is expected that this December will be close to normal. The average monthly air temperature is expected to be between -4 and +2 degrees. But to say that December can have such high temperatures or frosts, such as highs and lows the climatic characteristics are described – I can't yet, because we don't expect them. Temperatures close to the climatic norm are possible, that is, classic winter weather,” said Ptuha.
Precipitation is also expected to be within normal limits. Perhaps in some regions they will be slightly less than normal.
