Now the situation on the battlefield is to a certain extent even more complex than it was in the spring of 2022. The next few months will make it even more difficult to hold the line due to winter weather conditions. Colonel Andrei Biletsky, commander of the Third Assault Brigade, said this in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda.

In his opinion, the main problem of the Ukrainian army now is the shortage of personnel and the insufficient level of their training, and correspondingly low motivation to fight. “Motivation is a matter of professionalism, level of training, level of global trust in all levels that lead the soldier, sergeant, officer, and so on. Motivation comes from there, and not just because the person is patriotic,” says Andrei Biletsky.
