World Bank – Ukraine received 4.8 billion dollars — Ukraine


The funds will go, in particular, to the restoration of our state.

Ukraine received 4.8 billion dollars from the World Bank within the framework of the PEACE project. This is the largest investment project in the bank's history, launched to support our state in the implementation of reforms in the social and educational spheres, the sphere of health care, agricultural producers, etc.

This was written by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

In total, during the full-scale war, almost 50 billion dollars were raised through the mechanisms of the World Bank.

“We are extremely grateful to the United States and development partners who finance aid within the framework of the PEACE project. We thank the World Bank for its constant involvement and active support of initiatives that strengthen Ukraine,” Shmyhal said.

Earlier it was said that by the end of 2024, the World Bank predicts GDP growth in Ukraine at the level of 3.2%….
