Xbox Games 2024 – Microsoft no longer makes exclusive games – UNIAN

The Outer Worlds 2 and the new DOOM have already been confirmed for launch on PlayStation 5. Indiana and Stalker 2 will also soon reach rival consoles.

Journalist and Windows Central editor Jez Corden wrote on X (Twitter) that console exclusives are permanently gone from Microsoft's gaming division's plans.

Corden stressed that the most Xbox fans can expect is timed exclusivity. Microsoft has already started releasing its games on the consoles of direct competitors and plans to continue this practice.

At the last exhibition The Game Awards 2024, a trailer for The Outer Worlds 2 was presented, which was officially announced not only for Xbox and PC, but also for PlayStation 5. The game is being developed by Obsidian studio, part of Microsoft.
