“I plan to undergo treatment. Ever since Wimbledon, my knee has been very bothering me; to be honest, I haven’t even had time to take care of my health. The coming time will be busy with procedures with trainers and doctors, there will be no time to rest,” said the Kazakh woman.
Putintseva added that if her knee problems are resolved, she plans to compete more in doubles.
Today Putintseva defeated Koo Yeon Woo with a score of 6:4, 7:5. Thus, Kazakhstan secured its place in the Billie Jean King Cup qualification.
