Yuri Boyko from OPZZH will remain on the Human Rights Committee – UNIAN
9 votes were not enough for an effective vote – only 217 were scraped together.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not support the draft resolution on the recall of the former head of the OPZZH Yuriy Boyko, who distinguished himself by scandalous statements regarding language and the church, from the parliamentary committee. People's Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this in his Telegram.
“The Rada could not even recall Yuriy Boyko from his position as a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations,” he wrote.
Zheleznyak notes that only 217 people’s deputies voted for the corresponding draft resolution, with the minimum required 226.
