Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant was on the verge of blackout due to Russian shelling: what is known – UNIAN
During another shelling, Russian troops damaged one of the high-voltage lines supplying the occupied Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). Currently, the ZNPP is powered by a backup line, Ukrenergo reports.
“The location of the damage to the main power line has already been established. Repair teams of Ukrenergo are carrying out emergency restoration work. Thanks to fellow repairmen for working in conditions of high risk to life,” the message says.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine stated that the Zaporizhia NPP is “on the verge of a blackout.”
