President Zelensky congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential elections.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, reacted to Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 US elections and said that he hoped for continued support for Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
The head of state wrote about this in his Kh.
“Congratulations to Donald Trump on his impressive election victory!” – wrote the Ukrainian leader.
Zelensky recalled their meeting in September, during which they discussed the strategic partnership between the countries, the Victory Plan and ways to stop Russian aggression.
“I appreciate President Trump's commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs. It is this principle that can really bring a just peace in Ukraine closer. I hope that together we will implement it,” Zelensky emphasized.
