Zelensky thanked Japan for allocating $3 billion as part of the G7 initiative
Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Takeshi Ivaya agreed to intensify the implementation of the bilateral security agreement, which was concluded on June 13 in Apulia.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi expressed gratitude to Japan for the allocation of three billion dollars within the framework of the decision of the “Group of Seven” countries regarding the loan, which will be repaid at the expense of revenues from frozen Russian assets.
The head of state announced this following a meeting with the country's newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs Takeshi Iwaya, who made his first bilateral visit to Ukraine after the formation of the new government.
Separately, the Head of State noted that Takeshi Ivaya visited not only Kyiv, but also other Ukrainian cities, including Bucha.
