President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is looking for a replacement for Oksana Markarova, who holds the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States of America.
The Washington Post writes about this, citing the words of the official representative of Ukraine. According to them, after the elections, the Ukrainian president is considering candidates to replace Markarova.
The ambassador herself wrote yesterday on her Facebook page that the United States is now entering a time of transition when work is doubling. In the post, Markarova noted that she knew Donald Trump’s team from her time in the Treasury Department.
