Zelenskyi signed a decree on reservations for medics and military personnel
The corresponding decree was published on the website of the head of state.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree banning the appointment of medics to military positions not related to the medical service.
Zelensky announced this on December 5 with reference to Decree No. 817/2024.
The decree also states the following:
- reviewing the conditions for booking doctors;
- digitization of VLK;
- provision of mandatory electronic registration of wounded, traumatized and sick military personnel and electronic management of medical documentation in military medical institutions
With this decree, Zelenskyy implemented the decision of the National Security Council “on countering threats to the national security of Ukraine in the field of health care during a special period.”
