Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban does not have a mandate to hold negotiations with Putin, and that his relations with the president of the aggressor state are “too warm.”
He spoke about this at a press conference in Brussels, responding to a Hungarian journalist's question about the Hungarian Prime Minister's proposal for a “Christmas exchange” of prisoners and a ceasefire.
Zelensky emphasized that he had no conversation with Orban and learned about all his initiatives from the media. According to him, such a situation is “not serious” and resembles “political PR”.
