Kazakh fighter MMAZhalgas Zhumagulov (17-9) commented on a possible title fight for the belt UFC between a Kazakhstani Shavkat Rakhmonov (19-0) and American welterweight champion Belal Muhammad (24-3), Sports.kz reports with reference to Bassport.kz.
— I know Shavkat well, since since 2010 we have regularly held joint training camps.
Belal is not an easy opponent, so Shavkat needs to prepare very seriously for this fight. Muhammad remembered many of Shavkat’s mistakes during the fight with Garry,” Zhumagulov said.
The fight between Rakhmonov and Garry took place at the UFC 310 tournament in Las Vegas (USA) and ended with the Kazakh’s victory by unanimous decision after five rounds.
